With November almost here, being thankful is always top of mind. As a company, Design Ideas has a lot to be thankful for. This season, we wanted to spotlight what some of our employees are thankful for in their lives!
Jessica Krisfalusi, Black Box Sales and Service Representative
"I am thankful for my amazing and hard-working husband and our 2 adorable and healthy kiddos! And not to mention my amazing mom who helps to watch them. I am also thankful for my health, the roof over our head, and whatever family time we do get. Working for a company that provides me with a good work/family balance while doing something that I enjoy is something to be thankful for as well. Come December, I will be REALLY thankful when my husband is finished with nursing school! …. and of course, I am thankful for chocolate, ice cream, and pumpkin pie!"
Chris Beams, Account Manager
"I am thankful for my immediate family. My Amazing husband who is always by my side through the roller coaster of life. My beautiful daughter who helps me to see the adventures in life. And my handsome son who has taught me the power of love."
Nathan Laughhunn, IT Coordinator
"I am grateful for many people who have given me the gift of their support. I am thankful for my girlfriend who initiated my IT journey by teaching me that it is never too late to start something new and supporting me in my decision to pursue my career path. I am thankful for my father who has always been a steadfast example of hard work, determination, and perseverance. He also works in the IT field and has been there to answer my questions in this journey. Also, I am thankful for the amazing environment of DI that continues to foster my growth and challenges me in becoming the best version of myself. This year has been an amazing journey which began with the start of my enthusiasm for the IT field. Many people along the way saw that enthusiasm and invested their time into support and guidance. With their help, my dreams have been able to become a reality, and for that I am truly thankful."
Dave Chavis, Safety Coordinator
"I'm thankful for the little things in life, like family and friends. My family are my friends and I treat my friends like family."
Tanya Kincaid, Lead Product Manager
"There are so many things I am thankful for, but most important is life. I get to wake up every day and I have good health that allows me to do anything I want with the greatest family and friends. I think many people take their health and the life they are living for granted. I am also thankful for the most sassy, sweet, independent and funny daughter a parent could ask for."
Erika Minielly, Sales Coordinator
"I am not originally from Springfield, so when I stumbled upon Design Ideas I was excited for this new opportunity and for a job that keeps me on my toes! I also have enjoyed the travel opportunities when visiting customers or working trade shows. Finally, it’s so nice to work in an environment where your coworkers are friendly and we all work together well. Overall, I am grateful to work at a place that treats you like family and wants us all to succeed."
Rick Maioli, Shipping Coordinator
“I am thankful for my two amazing daughters and for the most amazing woman I have ever met, my wife. Not only am I thankful for them but I am thankful for second chances, a car accident I was involved in really put life into perspective for me. And finally a fresh start and a chance for something new. Not only was I able to move from Las Vegas to Illinois to be closer to my daughters but I received the opportunity to work for Design Ideas with amazing people! “
Adam the Doodles Man, Influencer and DI Mascot
“I am thankful for my pets, Whiskers and Rover, and especially my best friend and girlfriend, Eve. I am also thankful for my fans and followers, they are the best. And last but not least I’m thankful for all of the adventures I have had and am planning.”
Our company is truly thankful to have employed such outstanding people.
